TCNJ’s welcoming, supportive environment has traditionally thrived on opening its doors to our internal community, to prospective students, to friends and family members, and to anyone else who feels like stopping by. However, as we follow state regulations during this uncertain time, we ask for your assistance in keeping our community healthy and request that anyone who is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 (or think they may have been exposed to the virus) avoid coming to campus.
To further help protect our campus community, anyone who has a need to come to campus or who resides on campus will be asked to conduct a daily self-checkup to monitor personal health. Additional precautionary guidance for various audiences can be found below.
Faculty and staff
All employees will be required to complete online educational modules regarding COVID-19 and campus policies, protocols, and expectations. Additionally, faculty and staff who will be on campus on any given day must conduct the daily self-checkup starting the day of their return. The daily self-checkup is available in the TCNJ Roar app or via an online web form.
The college will equip each employee who comes to campus with health supplies, including two washable and reusable cloth face coverings, hand sanitizer, and a thermometer. Should you exhibit symptoms or know you have been exposed through close contact with someone who has been diagnosed, please self-isolate and seek guidance from your primary care physician.
Students who live on campus will be required to complete online educational modules regarding COVID-19 and campus policies, protocols, and expectations prior to starting classes in the fall. Students are to complete a daily self-checkup and will receive health supplies, including two washable and reusable cloth face coverings, hand sanitizer, and a thermometer. (Residential students will receive items at room check-in.) The daily self-checkup is available in the TCNJ Roar app or via an online web form.
Should you exhibit symptoms or know you have been exposed through close contact with someone who has been diagnosed, please contact Student Health Services for additional assistance.
Typically, we look forward to welcoming visitors to our beautiful campus. However, we currently ask for your patience and understanding as we limit the number of guests at any one time. All visitors will be required to complete a self-checkup prior to arrival and adhere to certain health and safety precautions. The daily self-checkup is available in the TCNJ Roar app or or via an online web form.
While we are offering small-group campus information sessions and tours in compliance with health and safety standards, reservation requests have exceeded capacity. If you do not already have a reservation, we encourage you to check our on-campus visit page periodically for possible openings on upcoming tour dates.
Though our campus tour schedule may be quite full, we’re always ready to welcome you virtually! Prospective students and families are encouraged to register for virtual information sessions. Please also sign up as a prospective student so we can provide you with our most up-to-date information.
All other visitors — including contractors, vendors, guest speakers, etc. — should complete the self-checkup prior to arrival and limit their campus activities to only the necessary areas. We require face coverings indoors — and also outside when appropriate distancing is not possible.
