In planning for the coming semester, TCNJ recognizes that there are members of our community who are anxious to return to campus and in-person interaction while others, for a variety of compelling reasons, need to continue to engage remotely. Through “TCNJ Fall Flex,” our plan featuring considerable flexibility in instructional modes and operations, the college will accommodate both groups and meet our overarching goal to provide a safe, accessible, high-quality education.
TCNJ Fall Flex is predicated on the state reaching Stage 3 of Governor Murphy’s “The Road Back” plan for reopening the state. At that time, we will be permitted to resume in-person operations, though significant state restrictions—most notably that we operate at a reduced capacity—will remain. Further details are available in the document “Restart Standards for New Jersey’s Colleges and Universities.” Please know that our planning will continue throughout the summer and through the Fall semester. We are prepared to anticipate and respond to changing conditions and requirements as they arise. This site will continually reflect the most up-to-date information. Be sure to bookmark this page and use the TCNJ Fall Flex website as an ongoing resource.
Every member of our community will have a role to play in promoting health and wellness on campus this fall. Please familiarize yourself with the standards and protocols contained in this website. While we recognize that this will not be a typical fall semester, we also know that the TCNJ community’s commitment to delivering and receiving a top-notch education and to fostering an amazingly welcoming, supportive environment—even in the toughest of circumstances—means we’re stronger than ever. Thank you in advance for doing your part to ensure we stay Lion Strong.
